In the beginning of April we took a trip to Atlanta for a church conference and to see our friends Mallory, Justin, and Hannah. I was so glad that we went because it was the last time I got to travel during this pregnancy because I had a few possible complications and was put on bed rest. I was 22 weeks pregnant when we left for Atlanta and put on bed rest from 24 weeks to 30 weeks. The trip was really fun. Our friends Meredith, Emma, and Audrey rode with us, and it was quite a van full with 3 adults and 4 kids ages 4 and under. The kids did really well though, and since they are such good friends had a lot of fun travelling together. It's always so wonderful to get together with many believers from many different states and enjoy messages about the Lord and His move and have fellowship with one another.

| No trip is complete without a stop at Chick-fil-a... |
| Or ice cream :) |
| Mrs. Meredith is so fun! She went down the slide with Emma :) |
| Tim is always so good with the kids. Walking from the parking lot to the meeting. |
| There were rooms for the children to play during the messages. For the younger ages (not in school) one of the parents had to stay with the kids, so we took turns. |
| One day when the younger kids were napping, Tim took Emma and Caleb to play at chick-fil-a. |
| Emma: "Caleb, before you get in your chair can you do me a favor? Can you buckle me in?" Sweet kids! |
| Watching a show in our hotel room while waiting on little sister to wake up. |
| One day for dinner we met up with Mallory, Justin, and Hannah for dinner and a few pictures. |
| Our updated preggo picture since January :) |
| Before we left Atlanta for home, we stopped by Ikea and stocked up on some goodies to bring home. We love Ikea! |
| After losing our keys in Ikea for an hour, we FINALLY found them thank God and headed home. I think it's safe to say our van was a little packed LOL. |
| Stopping at Panera for dinner on our way home |
April 4th was Levi's first day of daycare. I decided it would be a good time to start him being somewhere without Tim or I since we were having baby Lily in a couple months. We did the same thing with Caleb, and it really helps with them learning to be away from Mommy and Daddy and not depending on us so much. He wasn't so happy when he realized he was actually not in the same room with Caleb...and that Mommy wasn't staying. :( Thankfully, after the first week he did so much better and didn't cry when I dropped him off.
The next week we met up with Meredith, Emma, and Audrey again at the park for a play date. We also got to meet a friend of Mrs. Meredith's and her friend's little boy.
| Levi is so brave! He went down the really big slide! |
The weekend after that, right after I was put on bed rest, Touch A Truck came into town. We had already bought tickets and also got a few free, but since I couldn't go Tim took the boys, Emma, our friend Cord and our neighbor friend Luke and his dad. It had just been Luke's birthday, so we wanted to invite him and his dad as our birthday gift to him. It was our kids' first time going, and Tim said they all had a good time.
A few more things that happened in April...
| Aunt Christy came for a short visit |
| Mommy got sweet snuggles from Levi |
| Caleb and Levi playing at our neighbors house |
| A rare snuggly nap with Caleb |
| Levi somehow got stuck in the basketball goal haha. |
| After being on bed rest for 11 days and barely doing anything, I wanted to take the kids out for a special treat. We went to Chick-fil-a for lunch and got a small shake for all of us to share. It was both boys' first shake, and they couldn't get enough! |
| Levi stole my straw at one point so he could get more LOL! |
| Levi looked like such a big boy putting this train track together all by himself. |
| Emma and Audrey came over to play one day so their mom could get some stuff done. We had lots of fun play time with our sweet girl friends this month! |
| Of course we had to bring out the super hero costumes! |
| Even Emma liked dressing up like a super hero (she is Spiderman) :) |
| Caleb had a field trip with his school to go to the Natural Science Museum. I had to miss it because I was still on bed rest, and I was super upset I wasn't able to go. BUT, his sweet teacher sent me two pictures to make me feel better. :) |
| Going to the museum with his teacher and little friend |
| Caleb's first "person" drawing that I know of. I had never seen him draw a real person before. This is apparently me. I loved the belly button feature the most :) |
| Some little munchkin got into Mommy's mascara..... |
| This is from April 12th, the day they decided to put me on bed rest because of cramping and a shortened cervix. |
| I went back on April 27th to check and make sure everything was ok. In only 2 weeks things had already improved which was a relief, and the obgyn said I was allowed to switch to moderate bed rest but to still be careful. We didn't want this little girl coming early! I also found out that I didn't have Gestational Diabetes. Whoo hoo! |

A few fun facts and sayings from April:
- Levi started taking his pants and diaper off this month. One day he told me he had to pee pee, took everything off, sat on the kid potty, peed, and dumped it into the big toilet 3 times all while I laid in bed resting and talking to him. He had sat on the potty before but had never actually peed in it before. It was amazing! This started our potty training experience.
- Sometimes when I go in the boys' room to lay with them at night before bed Caleb will fold a pillow in half for me and get my spot ready because he knows I like it like that. Sweet boy. :)
- Levi brought a headband to me while I was doing yoga because he knows I usually use one and said "head for stretching". :)
- Caleb and Levi pretended they were going to bed one day and did night night prayers together before pretend sleeping. *preciousness!*
- One day not long after Tim went to work, the boys each grabbed a lunch box and told me "I'm going to work!" then went out to the tree house :)
- Caleb: "Where is the show and tell??"
Tim: "You mean the hotel?"
C: "Hotel." haha
- Caleb said "This is a roller coaster because it's crazy everywhere!" (We were on a road with a bunch of bridges around it.)
- Caleb asked "Are we still in George?" (Georgia)
- C: "I can pick it up. There. See? That should do it." (picking up a box)
- Levi: "Here, mom. Cake! For birthday!" (Pretending to make and bring me cake)
