Ok...so yeah... it may be 6 days until Levi turns 11 months, and I MIGHT just now be doing his 10th month post..BUT I have a great excuse! I've been spending the past 3 weeks totally sleep deprived between traveling for Thanksgiving, colds, and teething. I also spent 2 weeks working on Caleb's updates, and I believe his posts deserve as much attention as Levi's do. :)
As I was going back through Levi's calendar, I just had to stop for a minute. Wait..this is from LAST month?? From November right? No way.. can't be! He was barely STANDING a month ago?! The little stinker is WALKING now. WALKING and could barely stand a month ago. WOW. Kids are AMAZING. They learn so fast! They grow so fast! It makes me have more mercy when he's clingy, cranky, and up at night. Gosh...think about all he's going through. No wonder he wants the 2 people he trusts the most to be with him: Tim and me. Poor sweet baby (almost toddler! *sniff*)!
Levi's 10th month spans from October 25th-November 24th. We always have a church blending time at the end of October at Percy Quinn state park. We missed it last time because of sickness, so we were really excited to go this time! I spent most of my time with the children and parents/children serving ones, so that is why all my pictures are of the kids :)

Caleb is a climber for sure! Thankfully Ms.
Ting Ting was there to help him! |
Quite a few things happened in November. Levi started crawling at the beginning of October and kept getting more and more mobile throughout November. He stood up from the sitting position without holding onto anything for the first time, climbed onto our small trampoline by himself (and almost gave me a heart attack!), took 2 steps, and crawled all the way to his room and sat waiting on me to feed him and put him to bed (we had company over for dinner and lost track of time..sweet boy :)).
He also started doing the CUTEST thing: crawling over to a pillow, lying his head on it, and then looking over and grinning at you. It just makes my heart smile! (and my face hehe) One of my favorite things from this past month was that Levi's love for music has turned into Levi shaking his groove thing. In the picture following, you will see Caleb and Levi playing with the keyboard. In this exact picture, he is bouncing his bottom up and down and playing at the same time. I laughed SO HARD. Love!!

Caleb was such a good sport and let Levi play
music with him. |
During this month, Levi also starting getting jealous of other kids getting attention from Mommy (including Caleb). This began a pretty clingy phase for a bit, but it only lasted for a couple weeks. He's gotten so much better about me holding other kids..just as long as I acknowledge him too. He also began to enjoy shaking maracas, and for the first time Caleb let him have one of his fruit and veggie pouches (with Mommy's help).

| He loves me :-D |
One fun change this month was making Levi's exersaucer into a standing toy. It's the third and last level of this toy. Sad but true.. he's almost outgrown it. :( Caleb helped me do it while Levi was napping, and we watched Tarzan at the same time :) Such a sweet memory.
The last few things that happened in November were that Levi learned how to sign "eat/food", said "bye-bye" to his Pediatrician (at least that's what Dr. Payne thought), and went to Daddy's office for a Thanksgiving office party!
 |
This was his 9 month appointment, but it was actually during
his 10th month. Isn't he cute?? |

The kids like to play by the huge window in Levi's room. It's
especially nice on cold days. |
 |
Starting to really like being under things and in hidden
places. Don't all kids like that? I know Caleb does, and I
did as a child! |

I really don't know.... this looks like something that may happen in the teenage years haha |
 |
Levi wasn't having it, and poor Caleb kept saying "Shh Shh" to try and console him. This picture, though, is hilarious haha
