Beach Trip in May 2017

In May we had the pleasure of going to our dear friends' 10 year wedding vow renewal in Florida. Many of our friends came together to celebrate their relationship and our friendships! It was a pretty long drive, and the boys had a lot of fun looking at books and singing songs.

We rented a beach house where most of our other friends were staying, but we figured out after dinner that the air was OUT and it was HOT. So, we loaded everything back up, finally called a hotel that had room, and drove the 20 mins to our new place. At least we got free breakfast 😀 What I was the most sad about is that we wouldn't get as much time with our friends as we had originally planned, but it turned out to still be a wonderful trip! We still had a ton of time with everyone. That night we went to an area that had a lot of food trucks, got food, and ate outside under the stars! (I didn't get any pictures sadly.) Then, the kids ran around a grassy field next to it and played Frisbee! 😊

The next day we took a family day to the beach. It was Lily's first time, and she liked to play in the sand but she didn't like to stand in it haha. The boys had such a blast, and Tim and I loved to play with them! 

That afternoon we met up with everyone else and went swimming! We had such a blast splashing in the pool, laughing, and cracking jokes.

Then that evening we had the ceremony honoring Logan and Heather's 10 years of marriage. It was beautiful outside and the rain held off just long enough for us to get to enjoy the moment. The kids also had a blast running around and playing. 

It was a beautiful weekend, but went by way to fast!! We rarely all ever get to be together even though we are all friends because we live in different places and all have busy lives, but when we do it always so much fun and creates cherished memories!!
