It's been 5 months already since December and Lily's 5th month, but with life being so crazy these days I'm having such a hard time keeping up! I AM going to get every month of Lily's first year done though. I did it for the boys, and I am determined I will do it for my baby girl too. No 3rd child syndrome here, folks! 😉
During December, Lily had her 4 month sleep regression. This is considered the worst regression in a child's life, and I can vouch that it is indeed awful. Ha! Lily barely slept without me at night the whole month although she did sleep her first 7 hours straight one night at the beginning of the month. She just wanted to keep mixing it up. HAHA! As I write this, I am just SO thankful that this is my past and not my present 😂!) Although sleep was rough, we had so much fun together during the day. Even when Lily doesn't sleep that great, she's still a pretty happy baby. The good news is that in December she started getting her naps down and took her first 45 minute nap alone (without me holding her)!

| Always wanted to sleep with Mommy |
For new things, Lily started being more flexible (could pull her feet to her mouth!), thought playing peek-a-boo was fun, started learning to sit up, played in the exersaucer for the first time, started grabbing EVERYTHING I was holding in my hand or within her reach (this is still true haha), and could push up all the way while on her belly! She also tried her first food just 2 days before she turned 5 months (green beans), but she wasn't ready and didn't really eat it. So, we decided to wait until she was 6 months to start with solids. She also gave me her first real kisses!!! It made my heart BURST and put the BIGGEST smile on my face!!

| Love my feet! 😌 |
 |
| Feet feet feet |
 |
| I put her exersaucer together and put her in for the first time. Her favorite was the dragonfly...just like her brothers! |
 |
| She was so tall that the first time I put her in I had to move the height to the very highest spot! (Their feet aren't supposed to be flat.) |

| Pushing up! |

| Tried a couple bites of green bean baby food |

| First kisses for Mommy!! 💖💋 |
At the beginning of the month with the weather getting cooler, we invited our friends over to roast marshmallows with us in our fire pit!
The boys had a program at school! It was Levi's first time to be on a stage, and he was so cute! Nana was in town and got to come too. Afterwards, we went back to their classrooms and made gingerbread houses. It was such a fun time.
Lily and I went to a wedding shower to celebrate a dear sister/friend getting married!
We had a special visit from friends that live in Australia! We were so excited and honored that they took the time to come and visit us. Our babies are really close in age and being halfers they have a lot in common already 😏

The boys' sayings in December:
- Caleb dropped a piece of food on the floor and couldn't reach it, so I went to pick it up for him and tried to hand it to him and he said, "Ew, Mom! That's gross! It's disgusting because you haven't cleaned the floor today." 😅
- Me: "I'm sorry that I haven't spent much time with your today. Lily won't let me put her down at all."
Caleb: "Mom, babies are very hard work." (Sweet boy)
- Me: "Caleb, stop asking for snacks. You already had two, and you won't eat your dinner."
Caleb: "But, Mom, I'm a hungry boy! I love to eat alllll day." (Where does he come up with this stuff?? LOL)
- Caleb: "Levi, stop making that noise! You're scaring my baby!" 💗
- Caleb said to Lily: "When you came out of Mommy's belly you had a hat on your head and you always cried. Then you turned into a girl, and when you were in the doctor's bed (hospital bed) we came to see you and you were sleeping. When you were a baby, you were so fat! Now you have little strong muscles and could make my big muscles break!" 😏
- Tim: "How did you know, Caleb?"
C: "Because I'm that good." LOL
- Caleb: "Levi is breaking my heart because he was yelling at me."
- Levi: "I don't speak woof." (while talking to a dog 😆)
Fun Facts:
- Levi was 36 inches.
- Caleb was 43 inches.
- After one month of trying, Levi could push the "a" button on the wii remote and play the game by himself.
- Caleb knows clementines are called clementines and not an orange (what we usually call them to make it easier.)
- That time Caleb and Levi did "airplane" to themselves while eating and thought it was hilarious 😃✈
- While we were visiting family in the North part of the state, Levi had a crazy allergic reaction to something outside and broke out in hives and was itching ALL OVER. Thankfully, my husband is a doctor and my sister is a nurse, and we didn't have to go to the ER. Praying that never happens again!
