August oh August

This is the August post, BUT I forgot to get Tim's pictures off his phone from July and he had a couple of cute ones! I decided to share those first before I forget because Mommy Brain.

Now...back to August. The month of August was a HUGE month for us!! Our third baby and first baby girl was born on August 4th! I already wrote a very detailed post about her birth here. Press on that pretty little word "here", and it'll take you straight to it! There are a few pictures..once again...from Tim's phone that I didn't get to put on the original blog post of her birth, so I'll add them here just for fun :)

She's so sweet and innocent and little! Look at those sweet eyes looking at Nana! LOVE!

The three days before Lily was born I tried to spend some special time with the boys because I knew that once she got here it would be a little while before I could spend as much time with them as I did before she came....and it never really would be the same.

I took the boys out to eat lunch at Jason's Deli.

I laid and snuggled with the boys one last time at bedtime (as a family of 4) the night before Lily was born.

After Lily was born, Tim and I attempted to still do fun things with the boys (but mostly Tim and Grandma and Grandpa) so that they didn't feel left out.

Tim and I took the kids to play at the park with their friend Adam!

We all went to Corner Bakery for lunch. This was also Lily's first time out to eat at 10 days old! :)

The boys had a lot of fun playing with Grandpa and Grandma in August too...

Daddy, Grandpa, Grandma, Caleb, and Levi also went on a little trip to Starkville while Lily and I stayed at home and rested. Tim took some pretty cool pictures while they were there! Hail State! :)

Caleb FINALLY likes pizza!!! (This is the first time he ate cheese pizza and realized he LOVES it!...but only cheese haha)

Levi fought taking a nap one day, but he crawled up next to Caleb and fell fast asleep while watching a show. Caleb was so happy that he grabbed his hand and held it. Caleb is such an affectionate boy. 

Mommy's first Lord's day to serve with the children again (with Lily)

Caleb made this craft at school of his family. I asked him who all was on the picture. He told me it was Daddy, Caleb, Mommy, Mr. Moses (our mailman), Lily, and Levi. I thought it was SO sweet he added Mr. Moses who is always so kind to them and brings chips for them occasionally. I showed him, and it made him realy happy. :)  

Kids are hilarious...

- Levi: There's Jason's Belly! (Jason's Deli) :)

- The boys were getting ready to go to a friend's birthday party 2 days after Lily was born, and Caleb asked me if I was going to go. I told him that I needed to stay home and rest. His response: "But you're not sick anymore. Baby Lily popped out!" (Something like that. Hehe!)

- Caleb: "I'm going to get a freeze brain! That's so cold!"

- Caleb: "Levi, will you miss me when you sleep? What's wrong? Are you ok?"

- Levi: "Is she going home with us?" (talking about Lily)

- Caleb: "Lily's hands are so tiny!"

- Caleb: "Shhh baby Lily is sleeping!"

- Levi: "Mom, your hair is flying!" (I was sitting in front of the A/C in the car :))

- Caleb: "I am the oldest. Levi is little."

  Tim: "Well, you are a big big brother, and Levi is a big brother."

- Levi: "Do you know the password, Caleb?" (Talking about turning on the computer so he could watch a show on Netflix.)

- Levi: "I have rice in my nose.

  Me: "Why??"

  Levi: "Because I love it!" HAHAHA

- Caleb: "I love you, Mommy! You're the best Mommy!" (Sweet boy!)
