Levi's 4th Month (playing catch up)

This is a little update on cutie pie's 4th month of life (April 24th-May 24th). I'm still a little behind, but trying very hard to catch up! The beginning of this month didn't start off too great as we all had a stomach bug. Pretty sure Caleb brought it home from Mommy's Morning Out..which oddly enough made it Mommy Stuck Inside for 2 weeks! ;) This was Levi's first stomach bug. It was not fun. The rest of the month was pretty exciting though as it was a month full of new motor skills! Also, one of my favorite things I wrote down to remember that Levi did this month (but I forgot to write down the date) was when he started reaching out for my hands and fingers intentionally. I felt like he was bonding with me. He does it a lot when he nurses, and when he's snuggling. BEST. MOMENT. EVER. ^__^

April 24 - Eyes starting to get darker. I think they're going to be brown!

April 28 - 1st time to be in tornado weather and have to hide out in the bathroom (I think this was Caleb's first time too!), and also 1st time to look back behind him.

Not during tornado but same day and in the bathroom ;)

April 29 - Turned from tummy to back for the 1st time during nap time!

This was actually exactly 1 month later when he was furious
he was stuck and couldn't flip back over. 1st picture I got of this. :)

April 30 - Put his feet on the ground and arched his back like a back bend. I don't remember it being because he was angry, but it looked a little like the last picture above but more arch and less yelling ;)

May 5 - Totally pooped out the front of his diaper..I don't even know how that is possible since Caleb never did it! Don't worry..no picture included with this one HA!

May 13 - 1st great night of sleep in over a month. I believe the Lord gives us these to get us through to the next good night of sleep. :)

May 15 - 1st time to sit really well in his chair even leaning forward a bit

May 16 - 1st baby play date (with friend Anna)

May 19 - 1st time to try "facing out" in the carrier...and he REALLY hated it although you wouldn't think so from these pictures. After 5 minutes the tears came :(

May 22-27th was Levi's first REALLY long road trip. Although the 4th month ends on the 23rd, I'm going to include the whole trip in this post. The boys did really well with only a couple of rough moments. I was so thankful considering each drive there and back was about 22 hours, and we went through 8 states!

May 22 - Drove to Knoxville and saw the Cagle and Luu family!

I had never seen him be so creative before. He used his feet
to move his moose up to his hands and then his face. I was quite amazed!

Success!! This moose gave us lots of happy times in the car. 

May 23 - Drove from Knoxville to Philadelphia, PA with the Luus! (1st time to be in both those places)

May 24 - 1st time to be in an international christian conference and met Mommy's ole friend Denise!

Sweet Snuggles

May 25 - Played with big brother in the morning, 1st international Lord's table with the saints (there were 6 prayers in 6 different languages! oh so cool!), spent time with auntie Denise again today, met Lin Lin and Catherine, spent time with Uncle Joe and played with a toy all by myself for a whole 15 minutes

It's so wonderful to see so many believers together in oneness
remembering the Lord as we take the Lord's table.

May 26 - Drove back to Knoxville and getting more snuggles and love from Willing and Irene

Big brother is knocked out too! (The only time they both
were asleep at the same time and gave mommy a break..for 30 mins HA!)

May 27 - Last day of the trip. Leaving the Luu's house and going home. Levi's 1st time to Trader Joes! (This is a big deal in our family! ;) )
