An update on Caleb's milestones this past month :)

Every month is a whole new ballgame! I never thought my life could change so much in just a couple months or even WEEKS. That's right...WEEKS. This month has totally changed mine (and Caleb's) life forever!! No longer needing to hold onto things to walk, our little rugrat is all over the place!! Usually where we don't want him to be HAHA! I ordered another gate to baracade him in the living room, and praying this gives me a little peace and rest. I promise I almost never sit down here lately. It is exhausting!!

During this past month, Caleb has tried several new foods! The list of new foods continues as Caleb gets older and ready to try stronger tastes and tougher foods. Here are his new foods: chili (9/1/12), tuna..and not from a can (9/1/12), miso (9/1/12), frozen yogurt (9/2/12), butter (9/3/12), steak YUM (9/5/12), cheesy mash potatos (9/5/12), rice pudding..his new favorite haha (9/6/12), salmon (9/11/12), scrambled eggs with egg whites  (9/12/12), milk (9/14/12), honey (9/21/12), chocolate ^__^ (9/22/12), ratatouille (9/22/12), fresh carrot juice (9/24/12), smoothie (9/24/12), and soy yogurt (9/24/12).

As for Caleb's fine motor skills, he is progressing wonderfully! Here are some of the new things Caleb can do:

Reach for and play with his new green ball (9-3-12)

I can now clap! (1st time 9-3-12)

1st big boy slide (9-8-12)

Signing "All done" (9-9-12)

Walk by myself (1st time was 9-10-12)

Started kicking the ball (9-11-12)

Began pushing my stroller (9-13-12)

Started playing with others (9-16-12)

Can finally point (1st time 9-27-12)

I got my 7th tooth!! (9-28-12)

Look at me being a big boy and reading my book ^__^  (9-29-12)

The things I didn't get pictures of were:
1) banging two objects together (9-4-12)
2) copying sounds I hear like an airplane or dog or mommy blowing her nose (9-7-12)
3) reaching for the airplane and looking for it (9-12-12)
4) playing peek-a-boo..he would hide and jump out at us (9-16-12)
5) feeding mama with his spoon (9-21-12)
6) 1st time sitting on a baby potty (9-23-12)
7) learned to knock on the door to come inside or when he wants door to open
8) helps mommy get him out of the carseat, stroller, clothes, ect


Now that Caleb is 1 year, we have decided to change the format of our blog and not focus every post on him...although we will still mention him OF COURSE ;)
